30 a day. this is just in your waking hours. Hon please stop this asap. My niece is only 20 been smoking since she was 15 and now already has stage 2 lung cancer. She had hair to her waist, but not anymore. Its all gone because of chemo. she has a very good chance to survive stage two but she has a scar down her chest that will remind her the rest of her life what she chose to do with her body because she didnt say no to that very first one. Her own mother died at 38 and she still smoked. Everyone knows the danger of lung cancer but dont believe it will happen to them. Please say the opposite. If I continue to smoke I will get lung caner not if but will. You have the power to stop. Will it be easy no.

My own mother smoked for 30 years. quit 19 years ago. Just had her upper right lobe removed at the age of 74. Stage one does not have to have chemo we got very lucky. It was I who demanded a cat scan for a cough that she had for a month. So even after quitting for 19 years it still tried to get her.

Lung cancer does not know the age of its victim, how long you smoked, just that you smoked or are smoking. Of course people can get lung cancer without smoking but your odds are sooner or later it could happen to you.
