The doctor orderd a chest xray. I have QUIT SMOKING on sept 15TH. I've had a CT scan a lung biopsy and a mediastinoscopy .surgey is on jan 3rd 2008.

How are you doing. My mother had her upper righ stage one taken out march 31. Is not having chemo. I was just wondering how you feel now that it is 4 months later. My mom still hurst and is still on medication but finally drove for the first time the other day. she lost 42 pounds before surgery, is not on any oxyen. smoked for 30 years quit for 19 and still tried to get her. She still has a very small cough every once in a while the doctor said its a healing type cough not cancer related. and that it should go away. How has the last 4 months been for you perhaps I could let her know what she can expect. sorry no one seemed to help you with your question the doctors told us it doesnt happen very offten that lung cancer is caught in stage one. Guess you both were very lucky.
