Default Chemotherapy & Radiation therapy: what helped you cope with them?

My husband is about to embark on an intensive program of chemo & radiotherapy. For those of you who have been through it, are there any "little things" that you did, or your family did for you, that helped you cope better with it.

Any suggestions at all would be really appreciated. Anything from music, vitamins, books..... if there's anything at all I can do, great or small, to help my wonderful man get through this, I'd love to be able to help him.

I made it a point to drive my husband and sit with him every time he had chemo. Get him a big lunch right after, because he'll feel like crap later that day & for 2 weeks thereafter. I also gave my husband space, we made him his private area, and kept the kids away when he took his steroids. When he started loosing his hair, we immediatley shaved it bald so it didnt look spotty & bought him some glasses to have something for his face(cosmetic ones). I just tried to make him comfortable without being suffocating.
