...thought it was bowel. I have the HPV? virus in me (herpies virus) and my bowel habbits have changed. In 2005 I had lots of blood in my diarea. Now I have mucus I am passing out all the time. I was just reading up on bowel cancer and cancer of the Anus came up. I have all the sypmtoms of that. I never even thought of cancer of the anus as I have never heard of it before. I am female of 38. My bowel motion has changed 180 degrees and my Feritin is depleted for no reason as I eat well, so I do not understand it. I hve a small lump in my anus and I am itching all the time 24/7 and the itchingness has spread to inside of me as well non stop. This is driving me crazy. I cannot stand it. My blood tests were all normal expect for my Ferritin. I do not have gastro as I was checked for that, and I have no infection or bug as I was checked for that too. I have a need to go to the toilet so much more frequently and when I do I pass stools that are so soft and mucusy all the time. I have a feeling I have cancer of the anus,
and not bowel cancer as I thought. It is all finaly coming together for me now. All the symptoms I have been getting for over 2 years now, this makes sence. I heard that if you have the HPV virus it makes you more prone to it, as I have had the HPV in by body for a few years now. I am itching all the time and this has been going on for awile now. I am finaly getting to the bottom of this. The lump I am going to have investigated. Help I am scared. I not afraid of death as I know where I am going just the process. Do you know anyone with this disease or have you got it or had it? It is a rare desease, but a cancer never the less, and anyone can get it.

Dear Haeven bound, what you describe is really indicating that you may have anal cancer. The symptoms go strongly in favour of that. You should see a doctor imediately, so that you can start treatment as soon as possible (an operation will be necessary and improves the prognosis, after that radiation and chemotherapy). Ferritin is low because of the iron loss due to bleeding. I am very sorry for these news. Although, only tests can confirm this diagnosis to be a 100% shure, noone can tell you with certainty over internet messages. It is possible that it isn't cancer. But if it is I wich you all the best, it will be a very hard time during therapy and I hope you will be successful! Bye

my dad had the same thing an it also turn out to be internal hemorrhoids... But i also know someone how had hemorrhoids an it turn out the ended up having cancer in them some how.. But i really dont know much about hun im sorry but you do need to go get checked out again cause it jus may be something simple.. I really hope it is! Best of luck hun!

you really need to have a colostomy done. my ex passed lots of blood in bowel movements, turned out he only had internal hemorrhoids.
