Default My brother has recently been diagnosed with invasive bladder cancer?

HIs CT scan came to us and we haven't met with dr. yet. it says 'no adenopathy' but a mass was found in his left adrenal, atelectasis in left lung base. What does this mean? THere was also this suggestion that it has spread to the fatty tissue around the kidney. How bad is this????

My father died of bladder cancer after living with it end stage for two and a half years. I don't know what the medical jargon means but I wanted to wish him well. Good luck and G-d bless.

I'm sorry, it doesn't sound good. Nobody can say for sure, but invasive cancer spreads very quickly. My dad died of the same cancer in less than a year after diagnosis. It is a very painful disease, and he was on a lot of painkillers towards the end, making rational conversation very difficult. I can only suggest that you spend as much quality time with your brother as possible. A positive outlook will make time with him better for both of you. Remember to laugh with him!
