Default Stage of Bladder cancer?

60 yr old step-father had surgery today to remove a tumor from his bladder. The doctor said it was hard and not easy to remove. He didn't say if he got it all. They will have results back in about 1 week. Told my mother it may be farther along than they thought. What does this mean? Is it bad for the cancer to be hard? Thank you. A week is long time to wait when I am 1,000 miles away.

Bladder cancer is wicked and usually terminal. Hopefully they got all of it and has not spread to any other areas. I know a week seems like a life time at this point. All you can do at his point is pray and keep his spirits up. I would discourage your mother or step father from getting on the web at this point as it is likely to be very depressing and at this point they just don't know. I'll keep you in my prayers.
