Get yourself to a doctor. A one time exposure probably isnt' a problem; the people who developed conditions like asbestosis and mesothelioma were exposed to asbestos over the course of months and years. If nothing else, the doctor will want to begin a program of monitoring your respiratory system for signs of damage resulting from your exposure. On the other hand, if you were exposed to a cloud of asbestos dust and didn't have protection (like a respirator specifically approved for work with asbestos (most off the shelf respirators are not approved for this)) there was definitely negligence on the part of someone, either your employer or the contractor brought on to handle the abatement work. You should talk to a lawyer as well.
