My dad just found out today that popcorn ceiling's have asbestos in it and 3 of our bedrooms have this popcorn ceiling, our house was built in 1978 and we've been living here forever. I'm 18 now and have had that ceiling in my bedroom ever sence i was born an im scared, i dont wanna sleep upstairs in it now, and i use to chip my ceiling and stick stuff in it to hang things up like a dream catcher and that sort of stuff, should i be worried?

Not really. Just leave it alone. Unless it's flaking off and falling on you like snow (which is highly unlikely) it's not an issue. If it still concerns you, put drywall over it rather than try to remove it.
