When you speak of a lump in your throat, do you mean a literal lump like inside the wall of your throat, or like you have mucus that feels like a lump?
Cancer is caused by tumors, and if you had a tumor in your throat that was cancerous and already causing your teeth to become loose you'd have severely enlarged lymph nodes and be able to feel/see the tumor bulging out of your neck. Not to mention, tumors in the throat often radiate pain to the surrounding ear (so if it's in the left side of your throat, your left ear would hurt very badly).
I was also extremely paranoid about things like that until I started up in a nursing program and got educated on things like that. All you need is research to get past that.
