How long can a man live with testicular cancer ?

Hello. I'm 18 years old. And i have a pain in my left testical once in a while. Like i have this pain about once in 2-3 month. What is it ? Could it be a cancer ?
I have something attached to my left testical and it hurts like every 3-4 month....what is it ? cancer ? I need some help please.
