...lead to pancreatic?how bad is this?? doctor says only chemotherapy is an option, this is treatable, not curable. how long does my father have?

I am so sorry about your dad. Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst there is. You need to spend as much time as possible with him now, and chemotherapy may slow down its progression. The rest will be treating his symptoms to try to keep him as comfortable as possible.

What this means is that the cancer originated in the pancreas and migrated to his liver and lungs, probably before he even knew he had a problem.

I know you dont want to hear it, but he probably doesnt have a whole lot of time. You want to do what you need to do to be there for him and with him. Let him know how you feel about him, and enjoy the last times you have together. I have no idea how long he actually has, its different for each person. I took care of one who lived 4 months, another who is still going after 12 years. 12 years is very unusual.

stage 4 cancer is the worst, sorry to tell you this. Dad may not have long left so cherish each and every moment you have with him.

depends if had already spread it prob has if it is stage four there is still a chance if it has not spread if it has he will prob die within a year spend as much time with him as you can my wish are with you. i hope he beats hit

Time to make his house in order, so his family is not holding the bag to make all the decisions in case he will pass on. I hope he did not smoke so you are angry that he has this as a result,that would make it a dubble whammy for you.Sorry that you have to go trough this.
