As long as you understand that no documented evidence exists proving that beetroot juice or any other food will cure or stop the progression of the disease than by all means drink it. You should always discuss any dietary change with the doctor first though as some of these juices, herbals, supplements can intefere with chemotherapy treatments. Keep in mind too that a malignant tumor is made up of the same cells as the body . . so the body treats cancer as if it was a normal part of itself . . it has its own blood supply and the body feeds it to keep it healthy just like the heart, the lung, the skin, the bones . . you need to keep in mind that if beetroot juice is good for the body . .it may just help the cancer grow too. Be very careful and make sure this is discussed thoroughly with the doctor.

Hi Sweetie,
Beet root juice is an excellent, but very potent, toxin cleanser. It will help remove a variety of toxins from most of the organs. Toxin buildup can definately cause or worsen cancer and its symptoms. There is a commune in Vermont(that has a healer who has done extensive research on cancers. People often go there to her to be treated. It is not reccomended to drink large amounts of beet juice straight up. More than 3 or 4 ounces straight can cause fainting. A good elixer is to juice 3 ounces of beet juice together with 2 ounces of celery (known to have the highest naturally occuring source of vitamin K) and add the juice of 1 pear for sweetness. Drink this twice a day for 2 weeks for a natural detox. Love and luck--MissDelanne

Thanks for asking this question, it has also helped me. My father has liver cancer, operation to remove 50% of his liver next Tuesday, he has already had his bladder, bowel and prostate removed because of cancer, just when we thought all was well a check up showed it has spread to his liver. My love to you and your family at this difficult time.

There is no certain fact but it is probable as you said
BUT BE CAREFUL;

Choose firm and smooth beets. Avoid beets that are either soft or shriveled. Some prefer beets that are small, some prefer medium size and some prefer large size. The size you choose is a personal preference.

Beets are probably one of the most powerful vegetables available. Beets are known for causing both stools and urine to turn red and if this happens, don't be surprised.

Never drink beet juice by itself. Beet juice should always be mixed with other vegetables and/or apple juice. Pure beet juice (from the bulb or greens) can temporarily paralyze your vocal chords, make you break out in hives, increase your heart rate, cause chills or a fever.

Beets are best used in small amounts. I never use more than 1 to 2 ounces of beet juice
Both the roots and greens are powerful cleansers of the body. Beets are said to really cleanse the blood and kidneys and this is why it is suggested you use beets moderately

CONCLUSİON

Beets have a very nice taste and I really enjoy both the color of beet juice and the flavor. But do make sure you realize that beets are a tremendously powerful vegetable.

Consider mixing beets with apples, cucumber, carrots, etc.
