It's hard to answer this question without your medical background, but as a hep c educator and one who knows that elevated liver enzymes may be a sign of hepatitis C, you should talk to your doctor about getting tested for hep A, B, and C. I don't know if you've had any of the risk factors, but if you have, even only one time, then you should get tested. Risk factors are blood transfusions before '92, tattoos, piercings, IV drug use (even if only once), snorting drugs, sharing razors or toothbrushes, military & medical exposure to blood, dialysis, pnuematic vaccinations (military), & risky sex (MSM, anal, or kinky where blood is involved).
