Bone cancer in my Old English Sheepdog?

Has anyone else delt with this in their dog?
I love her so much, my heart hurts for her.
They aren't recommending amputation because
she's so large and it would only give her 6-12 months
vs 2-4 months without.
She's now on pain med.
Please. Anyone out there that can tell me anything
about this on a personal level
