My dad had lung cnacer in 2004. He had terrible pain in his thigh and within a week or so, his femor broke due to the cancer spreading. You or whomever needs a bone scan to determine any bones mets. He died 3 weeks after his leg broke...It spreads quickly...I am sorry to tell you this...I miss my dad terribly. He was only 73. Wish I could give you a big hug right now...God Bless...

I AM a cancer patient. It is in my bone marrow and my plasma cells. It IS very painful and sometimes I find it hard to stand because my feet hurt so bad some days. Cancer comes in 4 stages, I am late stage 3. Just spend all the time you can with them. I know from experience that sometimes the human touch of a hand from someone you know cares is just as important in controlling pain as meds. I gain strength from others. Share yours for as long as you can. God Bless.

If it's metastasized to the bones, I'd say death is coming pretty soon. I'm sorry to hear about this, I really am.

their doctor should give them some strong pain medicine to help with the pain. And yes it will hurt them really bad if they walk with bone cancer.

Please make sure the Dr. is giving them strong enough pain meds, no one should have to be in such terrible pain, l do know pain meds sometimes makes one feel very fuzzy, but if they can keep the pain down to a minimum, life will be easier for the person, at least they will be able to cope alittle better, l am so sorry for this person, God bless them. I hope they find some comfort soon.

It means the cancer is advanced to a very critical stage and they don't have much longer to live. I am sorry to have to tell you, but my mother died of Lung cancer so I know how it goes.
