if you have not been diagnosed with cancer or not a high risk, you wont have any problems getting insurance. But if you have, when you get insurance all pre-existing conditions will not be covered for a certain period of time. If you are insurable you need to get some coverage and keep it. I know from experience, i have been paying cobra insurance for the past 18 months and at the end of the month, which is tomorrow i will no longer have insurance. I am considered a high risk and checked out the high risk pool for the state i live in and its ridiculous. the premiums are 1,900.00 a month and with a 1,500.00 deductible. If i had that kind of money i wouldn't need insurance. Good Luck!
