I would just tell them when you feel comfortable with it. You need to come to terms with it first. I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer...it is the only cancer with 100% mortality rate, no cure. I am really sorry for you...make your last days count...the only "good" thing about any terminal illness, as my mother liked to say in her last days, is that you get a chance to mend fences and it makes you do the things you keep putting off, like vacations, getting in touch with old friends, etc. My moms doctor gave her 6 months to a year and she lived almost a year to the day.

Denis why on earth would you think that you will get nasty answers? When we talk about our illnesses I have found folk to be so understanding and kind and those who are not do not know how to handle a situation like yours and find it hard to put into words how they felt

I know that this illness is incurable and so you need to come to terms with this, however you cannot do this on your own and you will need support from friends and family. The only way is for you to tell them best way you can. I would think you need to visit them or get them to come and visit you. What ever way you chose to tell them please do tell them soon.

I pray that you have the strength, fortitude and the hope that you will get better.

I understand how you feel and when the pain gets bad kneel on all fours and then sit back on your heels as this is the only way to relieve some of the pain.

Good night denis xxx

First get everyone together take a deep breath then just say it.At least that way you only have to say it once.
I wish you the best of luck with your future treatment.
