Anyone ever had to get a colposcopy and had actual cervical cancer?

I'm so scared- This was my second abnormal pap and this time around doc wants a colposcopy, my HPV and pap were both abnormal. What should I expect? I keep reading in the internet about cervical CA, read that it is very preventable and curable, but I'm still scared...
