I'm 24 and a virgin so I thought it may be good to have this cervical cancer jab as it has a higher protection rate than given to a non virgin. I have been looking on the net to see if there have been any side affects but haven't found anything on it. Are there any side affects? How long does immunisation last? How good of protection does this jab give?

are you talking about HPV vaccine.... if so you get a series of 3 shots over several months and it gives life time protection from HPV............

I am 25 and a virgin, and I am having the vaccination myself. The immunization takes about six months. They give you the first shot, the second shot comes two months later, and the third comes four months after the second shot. So far, the only side effect that I have experienced was a little swelling where I got the second shot. Talk it over with your doctor before you make any decision, everyone is a little different, and there haven't been many studies on the side effects, so I do not assume that my experience is the norm.
