Chill - blood does not represent cancer.
There are three likely kinds, and stress can induce bloody stools too.
- Bright red blood - usually from tearing in the anal area. This could be if you had sex there, or simply if you ate a peanut that cut you on the way out.
- Darker blood - often the lining of the lower intestine - may be the result of a problem, or as simple as stress, but not automatically cancer.
- Black blood - assuming you can recognize it, this is the worse, although it doesn't mean cancer, but it means internal bleeding.
As for soft and mucusy, that's not cancer, that's probably a high-fat diet.
Check it out, but chill out - I'm pretty sure you don't have cancer if this is your only indication. Still, see a doctor. You may not want bad news, but once you know what it is you can deal with it. And it might be that you're perfectly fine.
You could also have some other intenstinal disorder. I think the cancer part is a reach, though.
Good luck!
